Robin: 23 years of service

This month, we’re delighted to recognize Robin. With more than 20 years on our team, you’d think he’d win the longest tenure award, but Rajino has him beat! Nonetheless, Robin has been a steady and inspiring presence around here since the turn of the century.

Robin’s Expertise

Over the course of his storied career here, Robin has had a hand in creating some pretty interesting springs. His favorites include forming a spring for the hood of an antique automobile, race car springs, and casket springs. Yup, that’s right.

The People and the Food

Robin finds joy in the family-like, wacky atmosphere that is Tennessee Spring & Metal. It’s part of what makes coming to work every day a pleasure. And when it comes to food, he’s all about classic barbecue favorites like pulled pork and brisket (though he’s quick to pass on beets)!

Outside of Springs

When Robin isn’t springing springs, he loves spending time outdoors, especially with his grandkids.

Hobbies: Hiking, mowing lawns, and being with family, including his beloved dog, Bo.Bo. AKA “Mr. Pee Body.”
Hidden Talent: Sewing!
Biggest Pet Peeve: “People who drive crazy”
Favorite Song: “Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

Robin dreams of traveling internationally and with his off-beat sensibility, sense of adventure, and appreciation for new experiences, it's easy to imagine him filling up a passport.
